HDG is also committed to save our natural resources, the re-use and the recycle, with the strong conviction that company business cannot develop long term without the full application (on all levels) of these basic, inescapable principles.
For a long time, we have been carry out a deep reworking of company production cycles:
- the adaptation of product packaging in cardboard;
- the use of PEFC certified pallets such as those produced by PALM;
- the application of separate waste and/or common trash collection;
- the controlled disposal of special waste;
- the controlled re-use of washing water to voluntary, systematic monitoring of reflow waters;
- the use of recycling plastics;
- The careful management of energy consumption (our offices are heated exclusively with a low temperature condensation boiler).
We have also been awarded PEFC certification for our commitment to sustainable forest management and recycling.
Our new plant (currently under construction over an overall area of 6700 m2) with a Research and Training centre will represent our commitment toward the environment in an even more tangible way: self-production of electrical energy only from renewable sources, recovery of rain water and re-use for suitable purposes, controlled treatment of air in working areas without the use of conditioners or special combustion heating system, class “A” energy in our buildings and green garden areas.
