About us

We are a chemical company located in Sissa Trecasali, a small town in the province of Parma. To find out more about us, however, we should take a step back...

We were founded in 1995 as Aedilia Srl, an innovative company, capable of combining sensitivity and verification of the impact of products on the environment with scientific research into new protective materials, based on solving problems given by practical applications.

We considered customer service to be - and still is - an essential component of product supply, and it was important to inform and sensitise traders and users: a patient and difficult job that immediately clashed with the Italian reality of those years. Environmental awareness in the construction sector was taking its first hesitant steps and only a few were able to accept products that were 'too' innovative.

In 1999 we decided to change our name. We wanted to consolidate our initial project as an innovative company, but we did not want to remain tied only to the construction sector. Hence HDG Srl was born.

In 2017 we decided to take another step forward, driven by the desire to constantly improve and accept new challenges: HDG S.r.l. became HDG Group S.r.l.. In the same year, we obtain registration in the register of innovative SMEs, which includes all small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the field of technological innovation, regardless of their date of incorporation.

In 2020 we turned 25 years old. We have reached this milestone thanks to the customers who have believed in us and supported us in ambitious challenges. But it didn't end there...

...in 2021 we opened a sales office in Germany! A new goal awaits us: to bring our 'Made in Italy' and our innovative spirit to Europe and the world.
