"I made a test putting just one coat of chesnut colour Lignum Hydromil on one side of the bead. Then I soaked it in a running water fountain at about 1000 meters of altitude, using some weights to keep it in. Time by time I periodically took it out from the water and I let it drying on some stones exposed to the atmospheric agents and when it was completely dried I put it again in the fountain... I repeated this actions for about a year, and I started in June last year. In that fountain are also cleaned buckets dirty of portland lime, cement, dishes (washing them up) and also, sometimes, clothes. One month ago it has been taken out for good and it has been cleaned using an high pressure cleaner........................" (Argo)
