We believe in scientific research

We believe in scientific research because it enables us to create products more and more effective but also increasingly respectful of the environment and the user.

In order to create quality formulations that meet our customers' needs, we have equipped ourselves with a Research and Development (R&D) laboratory that has the task of analysing raw materials, studying new solutions and applications, carrying out Quality Control on what is produced on a daily basis, as well as providing Technical Assistance support in the event of customer requests.

In addition to having our own in-house laboratory, we collaborate with research institutes in Italy and abroad because we believe in synergetic collaborations and confrontation with other experts, which allows us to grow and provides us with ideas to constantly improve our products. We rely on these research institutes to give greater value to the tests that our in-house laboratory carries out: in this way, the data is confirmed by an authoritative body, thus providing added value to the product. With the research institutes, we also carry out tests according to standards, so that we have certified products, guaranteeing effectiveness and quality.

We are specialized in tailor-made products. We are able to design and create products based on specific needs expressed by the customer. An example? The colour chart of Lignum P-501 consists of 24 colours, but there are many customisations we have made over the years for our customers, giving them the opportunity to have a unique colour that stands out from the rest. With Lignum Terradilegno, for example, we can recreate most of the colours from the RAL and NCS colour chart!

Research

The R&D laboratory analyses raw materials, studies a suitable formulation and its application as well as its interaction with the surrounding environment. Efficacy and resistance tests are carried out to verify product performance.

Sampling

After testing in the laboratory, a sample of the product is delivered to the customer for testing under actual conditions of use and to verify that the end result is in line with his initial request.

Production

Once approval is received from the customer, the formula is produced, checked, packaged and tracked. Our production is just in time, i.e. made on the spot, so that the customer is guaranteed fresh products.

Shipment

After all routine checks have been carried out, the product is delivered to the customer via contracted carriers; all shipments are monitored by our offices until delivery.
