HDG Group at Cersaie 2026

From September 21 to 25, Bologna once again becomes the world capital of ceramics and bathroom furnishings. It is the 43rd edition of Cersaie, promoted by Confindustria Ceramica and organized by Edi.Cer. S.p.A. In its last edition, the event drew nearly 95,000 visitors, more than 600 exhibiting companies and an international audience share close to 50%.

HDG Group will be present with the Lithos brand at Pavilion 31, Stand B40: an opportunity to meet manufacturers, retailers, installers and designers, and discuss face to face the needs and solutions for protecting stone materials.

At the trade show, we will be putting the spotlight on several products from the Lithos range. Among them are solutions designed to address concrete jobsite and surface needs, such as Lithos Overall and Lithos Barrier.

Lithos Overall is a water-based, water- and oil-repellent protective treatment designed to protect stone materials indoors and outdoors, either as a finish or as a base treatment.

It counters the efflorescence of salts, reduces flaking caused by freeze/thaw cycles, and penetrates deeply even into highly absorbent materials such as terracotta. It repels dirt and oily substances and protects against weathering, without altering the material's natural appearance or forming a surface film.

Lithos Barrier tackles a phase that is often overlooked: the jobsite itself. Applied before work begins, it protects stone surfaces — whether yet to be laid or already installed — from the dirt generated by subsequent work stages (dust, mortar, grout, etc.), significantly reducing the time and cost of final cleaning and preventing permanent staining.

It is ready to use, requires no dilution, and once applied, remains on the material with no need for removal once work is finished.

Two solutions designed for two different moments in a surface's life: the work phase and long-term use. Together, they capture the essence of the Lithos approach: protecting the material without changing its nature, with water-based formulations that are simple to apply and effective over time.
