Lignum P-501 Black is a water based wood stain, ideal for any type of interior or exterior wooden surface. It can be used as a primer for wooden surfaces requiring a top coat or as a finish for wooden surfaces not directly exposed to the atmospheric agents.

Available in transparent version and also in walnut, dark walnut, light walnut, grey and 19 other different colours.

Lignum P-501 Black provides excellent aesthetic quality with just one coat. It creates no bleaching or greying of the surface, not even near knots, and is applied quickly and easily.

As a wood stain, it colours the wood fibre without creating a surface film and emphasises the wood grain. Surfaces thus remain vapour-permeable even after treatment. The coloured versions possess good UV resistance, delaying the ageing of the material.

Due to the fact that it is a wood stain, there is no need to sand the surface either after application or when carrying out periodic maintenance.

The product is safe for the environment and the operator.

Treated timber can be handled and stacked, even when still wet, thanks to the product's self-restoring property.

The coverage of Lignum P-501 is 12-15 m² with 1 litre of product. The coverage may vary depending on the application method, the wood species treated, the surface texture of the wood and the number of impregnations carried out.
